In the appearance of the house, they saw at the same time the comfort and atmosphere of the chalet style, pitched roofs, natural finishing materials and luxurious details

At the same time, the house had to look ultramodern

The bright and expressive look of the house is inspired, of course, by nothing other than the character of our customers

In this project, we proposed to consider the kitchen-dining room as the central core of the house. From our practice, the kitchen-dining room is the room where they most often spend time, which means that all paths intersect in it

The living room got a more remote place in the house, but with gorgeous panoramic windows. The fireplace and the beautiful views of the plot encourage contemplation. After all, the house is a place of recuperation, and everything is provided for in our project. By the way, you can also contemplate from the hot tub, located in the far corner of the pool. She has the most beautiful angles on the environment, and sliding windows that open the corner will help her merge into a single stream with nature

For a full recovery in the pool, of course, a hammam, a steam room and a rain shower are provided, and a little in the distance — a gym. It is difficult to overestimate the importance of suburban recreation — the recreation area at the pool is practically the second living room. At least comparable in area to it. And the terrace with sun loungers along the pool repeats this relaxing story already on the street

Layout concept

Features of symmetry and asymmetry

The layout is based on an understanding of the lifestyle of clients based on this, the ideal interconnection of the premises for this family has been thought out

The layout simultaneously combines the features of symmetry and asymmetry

This technique complicates the perception of space: symmetry causes a sense of harmony, and asymmetry - interest and desire to explore space

The geometry break in the plan played into our hands

The layout of the 2nd floor — it turned out to be super-compact

We managed to get away from the large areas of halls, inevitably characteristic of large houses

The 2nd floor was divided into 4 blocks of bedrooms - a master bedroom, 3 children's rooms with a student room, 2 guest bedrooms

The most important rooms in the house

The most important bedrooms, the children's and the master bedroom, managed to give the south side

If suddenly there is not enough space for games, there is a huge terrace at the disposal of children (it is also a flat roof over the pool)

It can be used for outdoor celebrations or as a playground for children

ыыыThe initial wish of the client was to create a house in the style of a modern chalet. Groping for the direction, we offered 3 options for a space-planning solution: the boldest, moderately bold and more traditional. The client immediately chose the first option, which went into implementation!

OKSANA VOLKOVA

Monumentality and lightness

Pylons trimmed with stone alternate with vertical lines of windows from the ground to the roof creating a game of contrasts

Vertical metal gratings of the author's design complement this idea

In the decoration of facades, we used only natural materials - Jurassic marble, Silver Gray slate, aluminum, larch board

They are designed so that from the adult terrace it is always possible to observe what is happening in the nursery

The height in the ridge part of the house was beaten by the mezzanine from the children's bedroom with an understanding of how children love ladders and multi-level spaces

The children's terrace is connected and flows into the "adult"

The roofs of all buildings, resembling "origami", form expressive lines from ground level

Moreover, from different angles, the roof lines look completely different

The effect of a floating roof is achieved by fractures and upward-tending roof lines

The roof is an absolute accent in this project, the facade only plays up to it with its vertical lines, windows into the "roof"

Floating roof effect

Grilles complicate the image, create a play of light and shadow in the rooms

The grilles are made of anodized aluminum. This material has a low weight and is not subject to burnout

The lattices consist of plates deployed at various angles to the surface of the facade. They create the effect of falling rain, symbolize random forces of nature

The border with nature is almost erased

The terrace has collected all the scenarios for relaxation. On such a terrace, everyone will find something to their liking

But the terrace is only a transitional zone between the landscape and the house: the landscaping of the plot on the south side echoes the recreational function of the terrace: there are walking paths, lawns, a playground, an orchard, a decorative pond

The low landing of the house relative to the ground level and sliding windows - the border with nature is almost erased!

The plot of 0.4 hectares has a trapezoidal shape

In search of the perfect contour of the house and landing on the plot came up with the idea of an l-shaped layout with a turn

The main entrance is located from the main northern facade — at the entrance to the site, it takes over the main attention

In search of the perfect contour of the house

Due to the break in the layout, the yard turned out to be both spacious and closed at the same time

On the south side, the facade, on the contrary, opened: the rooms of the kitchen, dining room, living room, pool, and bedroom on the 2nd floor received maximum light

Adjacent to these rooms is a continuous terrace ending at the end of the pool with a barbecue area and an outdoor patio

The contours of the buildings form the courtyard space

Green view of the plot even in winter

The references of the image of the house to the style of the chalet also determined the style of the landscape

We decided to add techniques for building a Japanese garden to the mountain theme

This is how microplastics appeared in the form of small hills - it gives picturesqueness to the flat relief of the site, the winding contour of the paths, pebbles, and from the mountain theme — boulders, creeping coniferous shrubs, bonsai, blue firs

There was no place for flowers in this project, but the predominance of coniferous trees and shrubs will provide a green appearance of the site even in winter
